The expert panel in this workshop discussed how to address the health of children, families and youth through the schools, on issues ranging from health promotion to nutrition, physical activity, recreation, substance abuse, mental health, sexual education, and community and public health.

Cathy Dandy: Director, Parent and Youth Engagement at Kinark Child and Family Services. For six years she was Spokesperson and Coordinator for the Toronto Parent Network and since 2006 she has been a Trustee at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB).
Gordon Floyd: Executive Director and CEO of Children's Mental Health Ontario since January 2004, and prior to that Vice-president, Public Affairs and Interim CEO at the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy.
